Literacy for “Teeny-Tinies”

  • “Writing is like any other sort of sport. In order for you to get better at it, you have to exercise the muscle.”

    -Jason Reynolds

The “Write” Coaching Overview

  • Getting Started

    Brainstorming

Each client will receive a personalized approach to their literacy needs after an initial call or email exchange. This call will ensure that your needs are met whether you are a student or professional.

  • Personalized Support

    Outlining

Most clients will require an initial virtual session. From there, some may need only editing and revision support while others may need a combination of virtual sessions and document revisions. “Meeting” is where our journey begins!

  • Virtual Sessions

    Drafting

A component of coaching will be meeting virtually via Google Hangouts to receive real-time assistance and support with his/her/their writing. This provides a relationship-building experience to help hone your targeted message.

  • Direct Edits & Feedback

    Editing & Revising

Direct edits and feedback will take place on a Google Document, and clients will receive suggestions, questions, and direct edits in order to guide them in creating their desired message. The document may go through several rounds of revisions to reach a strong final, polished piece.
