Admission Process
The admission process is an endeavor and an exciting one! I am here to support you with any elements that require writing, especially the personal statement, supplemental questions, resumes, and letter of recommendation email requests for teachers. My expertise is helping you find your best story to share with the admission team to allow them to see who you are among a sea of students.
The Personal Statement Essay Story
The personal statement is often referred to as an essay, but deep down, it is a personal narrative, which is much more creative and emotive. I help students brainstorm and select their best ideas, and then, guide them as they write a story, which captures who they are and tells a compelling, honest, and raw story.
Your personal statement is your story to tell. How will you tell it? What will this story unveil about who you are and what you want for your future? No one else has your unique history and your exact knowledge and perspective of the world. Let’s see you share your story!
Along with virtual group sessions on specific topics, I offer one-on-one virtual sessions for support, scheduled at your convenience, and/or I often share written feedback via GoogleDocuments.
